How Fresh Food Fixed This Puppy's Skin Issue..

This is Rex, a cute little puppy who started life born in the banana trees, but by the time he found a home, he'd already become host to hundreds, maybe even thousands of fleas.. Although fleas are easily treatable with medication, with so many on such a young puppy, it can negatively impact their health and damage their immune system in many ways.

As soon as I got my first cuddle with him I couldn't resist removing as many of the fleas as I could by hand. He was so tiny and just seemed to vunerable. After being treated for parasites he was much happier and started to grow quickly. (especially his ears)
He was our neighbors pup so we'd see him most days, he was overall doing very well, he very confident and quite the noisy little pup too! But a few weeks later, a little lump on his head appeared, and the following day, it seemed to have burst open exposing raw and red skin.. His owner had put some cream on and was treating the area, although some days it would look better, the next it would look just as bad, if not worse! What started as a small spot, turned into 2 patches 10x the size..

Although he seemed absolutely fine in himself and showing no signs of discomfort or illness, I felt bad for the little guy and wanted to help him out as best I could as it seemed to be slowly getting worst. Rex had a home of his own where he'd receive meals, but I knew from past experiences with Roo, that he'd benefit from some fresh, nutrient dense, protein filled food. Especially since his tiny body was fighting against something and clearly struggling.
That evening when I made Roo's dinner, I put together a small portion for him too!
Put together with thought and intention of reducing inflammation, and fueling his immune system the nutrients & ammunition it needed to fight..

It doesn't look like much, but this tiny portion was a mixture of beef, veggies, turmeric paste, mackerel, egg, honey & chicken bone broth jelly.. ALL the goodness he needed to get that little immune system pumping.. Ofc he was very happy with his special evening meal and scoffed every last spec!
The next morning when he toddled his tiny body under the fence to say hello, I couldn't believe my eyes! I knew the food I gave him would help, but I couldn't believe how much it had improved his skin just overnight. The inflammation had completely gone down, there was no redness or shiny rawness, the skin looked calm, dry and soothed like it was finally begining to heal. There was even new hair growth!

His body had clearly taken very well to the nutrient boost I gave him, and I continued to make him a small portion of 100% fresh pure goodness every day for the next few weeks!
He's now a very happy, healthy and chunky 7 month old chap. He's strong, resilient, and no longer has signs of any skin issues, his coat is soft, thick and vibrant too!
I'm definitely not against going to the vet, however I do understand how expensive and inconvenient it can be, that's why ensuing your pets are happy and fueled with the best nutrition is so important! It enables their bodies to be strong and resilient, and their immune systems to work efficiently at staying clear of easily avoided health issues!

My conclusion.. the fresher, the better! Rex is the 3rd dog I've witnessed glow up & transform with good food, and I'm not about to stop here! That's why I share my experiences online within this dog-loving community, to inspire other pawrents to do the best by their dog, without breaking the bank! Good health starts within..
